Original era manufacture. Standard officers model dagger of early production with silver colored alloy scabbard and otherfittings. The blade isclean, just showing some very light scattered speckling to its surface. Nice contrast to theetched Eickhorn makers marks to the blade finish. Dark orange grip with two thin stress cracks extending up from the grip ferrule on the reverse, no chips or missing grip pieces. Original silver wire knot in correct "tie", showing minor fraying to its surface. Sound original hangers with aluminum fittings with velvet backed straps.
