Original period manufacture. An early manufacture dagger with silvered fittings and a dark yellow grip. The dagger is complete with its original hanger and knot, both are quite sound. The blade is very clean with a very clear Eickhorn trademark on the ricasso. No corrosion issues, just some very minor clouding and staining from age. On the reverse of the guard the name Sotte has been engraved. Perhaps a clue for some research. Nice, nice dagger.
