Original era photography, A large lot recently re-discovered during our move, covering the service of a German Army officer during WWII. The lot consists of 19 original black & white photos, ranging in size from a Soldbuch photo to a 7x9 inch. 1934 RAD ID card with photo, 1938 dated Fuhrerschein with photo as an Army Officer, 1941 dated Fuhrerschein (no photo), 1939 formal promotion document from Leutnant to Oberleutnant, SS-Candidate document for 3. SS Sturm III/43 SS-Standarte June 1933-March 1934, attesting to his proper behavior, an assortment of other membership cards and documents. 835 marked silver presentation tray, and three matching shot glasses, from the Officer Corps of IR 111, 1937-39. We do not know his fate during WWII, but would safely guess he saw considerable service during that time. One of the photos shows him wearing the ribbon for the Iron Cross 2nd Class on his uniform. Good research project.
