Original era manufacture. Nice quality wartime hat which is maker marked by EREL on the side of the sweatband. Feldgrau colored ribbed wool top with a dark green wool band. Medium green wool piping throughout. No real moth issues to report, just a few very tiny snags on the top. Darkened silver cap wreath and eagle, the mounting prongs do not pierce the green silk lining. Nice silver wire chinstrap. Very clean hat.
