Original era manufacture. Standard WWII German Army Officers sword with a lion headed pommel displaying red glass eyes. The chrome finished steel blade measures 30.5 inches in length, with a slight curve to the right about 10 inches back from the point. No corrosion issues to the blade surface, really very clean, no nicks or sharpening. Unmarked ricasso, no maker logo. Ornate, brass guard and lion head pommel with red glass eyes, toned brass patina finish at present. Black plastic wrapped grip, which is bound with triple strand wire.Black painted steel scabbard which has evidence of the paint having been touched up in years past, few small dents above the drag.
