Original era manufacture. A very fine example of the WWII German Army Officers sword by Clemen & Jung.The chrome finished steel blade measures 32.5 inches in length, runs straight and true, with no issues to the blade surface.Ornate, gilded brass guard and lionhead pommel with red glass eyes. Black plastic wrapped grip, which is bound with triple strand wire. There is avery slight movement to the blade when handling the sword. Black painted steel scabbard which is dent-free, and retains nearly all of its original painted finish. For some reason both of the scabbard throat fitting screws are missing.
