Original era manufacture. A clean example of the WWII German Army Officers sword. The chrome finished steel blade measures 32.5 inches in length, runs straight and true, with no major issues to the blade surface, beyond minor surface staining, and a touch of corrosion pitting at the point.Ornate, gilded brass guard and lionhead pommel with red glass eyes. Black plastic wrapped grip, which is bound with triple strand wire. No loose wires. Finish wear to the sides of the lion's mane.  Black painted steel scabbard which is dent-free, displaying a mix of steel patina finish and black paint.
