Original period manufacture. Standard pattern, pebbled aluminum Heer enlisted buckle with an original sewn leather adjusting tab. Fair amount of feldgrau paint on the reverse, maker marked L&F forward of the catch. Obverse shows good detail with staining from age and use. Leather tab is maker marked and dated 1938.
