Original era manufacture. A very clean, officers quality, upgraded tunic displaying the rank of a Pioneer Leutnant. Enlisted pattern cuff litzen which are machine sewn in place. Hand sewn officers quality collar litzen and bullion breast eagle. Leutnant rank black backed shoulder rank with the number 3 and gothic letter E. On the inside of the tunic is an enlisted soldiers marking tag, identifying the tunic as once belonging to a Pioneer serving with the 7th Company of Railway Pioneer Regiment 68. The EK2 ribbon stitched through the second buttonhole is not regulation but in my opinion was period done. The level of sewing talent expended in its application is superior and the ribbon shows a very nice toned age. No moth issues save for two 5mm bites near the bottom front, no stains, just light wear and use overall. Loops for a single badge and a small ribbon/medal bar. Scarce combat waffenfarbe.
