Original era manufacture. A salty, yet full of character private purchase tunic of officer quality ribbed wool material. Original sewn shoulder straps and collar tabs with a handsewn, officers breast eagle. Loops for a single badge on the right pocket, four badges on the left pocket and loops for a ribbon/medal bar. The collar tresse is sewn Reichswehr style on the top of the collar which needs to be tacked down again in spots. Metal numbers 377 on the right shoulder strap, on the left the number 3 is missing. Full imitation silk lining with a repair near the upper right shoulder area. The exterior of the tunic shows considerable wear and use, with scattered staining and a scattered mothhole or two. One of the aluminum buttons needs to be resewn, now residing in the right hip pocket. All in all, the tunic has a certain "I've been there" presence that can't be denied.
