Original period manufacture. Standard issue shelter quarter as used on all fronts by the German Wehrmacht. This example shows an early 1937 date, retains most of its original buttons with all three aluminum grommets in place.  There are numerous repairs and patches on the body of the Zeltbahn, someone went to a lot of effort to keep this from the dustbin. Good strong color on each side and will display well on your knapsack or A-Frame.
