Original era manufacture. Standard pattern shelter quarter as used by German troops on all fronts during WWII. This example, while retaining good color on both sides, exhibits considerable wear and use. Two of the three main grommets are missing, as are most of the original buttons. There are scattered holes and tears from service use, along with two patch repaired sections in the center seam. There are no paint drops, or heavy grease/oil stains in the fabric. This one would make a good restoration project or a good candidate for folding around a knapsack for display. Still an original zeltbahn, showing soldier use and wear.
