Original era manufacture. A venerable old warrior with a nice dark steel patina with traces of feldgrau paint on it's obverse. Makers initials and 1940 date forward of the catch. Original sewn and quite pliable brown leather adjusting tab with faint makers markings. Only issue is that the catch loop on the reverse of the buckle is pushed forward a bit.
