Original era manufacture. Standard issue Army enlisted buckle of WWII, stamped steel construction with an original sewn brown leather tab. Dark steel patina mixed with feldgrau paint front and back, maker marked ES 41, just forward of the catch. Tab dated 1941 and manufacture marked.  Normal age and wear.
