German WWII Army Supply Officer Tunic, Leutnant Rank

Original era manufacture. We believe this tunic started life as an enlisted issue M1936 service tunic and then altered to its present form. A common enough occurence during WWII. Good quality feldgrau wool with a dark green wool collar. The cuffs have been altered to the French style and are a good match color wise. Handsewn silver wire officers eagle, collar tabs and slip-on Leutnant boards piped in cornflower blue. Partial enlisted lining remains with issue size marks on the left size, full lining in each sleeve. There are loops for three badges on the left breast pocket, pretty impressive for a supply officer and indicates likley previous owner applied collar tabs and boards. The tunic is very clean and bright and is in about a size 36 regular, no moth issues to report.
