German WWII Army Tropical M1942 Felt Pith Helmet

Original era manufacture. Pressed felt body, with olive leather edging and matching chinstrap. The body is not crushed or broken, full leather sweatband which is size marked 59. Normal age and wear overall, both original helmet shields are in place, I believe the white paint on the tri-color shield may have been touched up a bit.The period German googles were on the helmet at the time of our purchase, and are included in the price. The liner strap is not quite long enough to reach around the helmet, so the collector used a rubber band to provide the extra length.
