Original period manufacture. Mismatched in terms of materials used in construction, but a nice match condition-wise.Aluminum eagle shield with all three mounting pins intact, and near perfect paint. Silver painted tri-color shield, again with all of its mounting pins present and near perfect paint.As used on both patterns of the Army pattern tropical pith helmet during WWII.
