Original era manufacture. A clean condition Heer Wehrpass issued in 1939 to a young man born in 1920.  Photo in cover, numerous entries regarding his service.He served with Grenadier Regiment 849 (282nd ID) and died of wounds received while serving on the Russian Front 12 February 1944.
