Original era manufacture. This is a rather different stamped brass Krim shield in that it is mounted to dark green wool badge cloth, instead of the normally seen feldgrau wool backing material. It has a magnetic backing plate, and instead of its reverse being covered in paper, this one has a thin gauze-like material for a covering.There is some mothing at the top of the shield as shown, but overall it is quite sound, and rather striking in its appearance.
