Original period manufacture. Chromed steel blade measuring 33 inches in length, running straight and true. No blade issues beyond normal age and wear. No makers markings on the ricasso.Gilded cast steel grip with a lionhead pommel, traces of the original gilding remain. Plastic wrapped grip bound with triple strand wire. Wrapped around the grip is an original officers quality sword knot with wire decoration.Dent-free, steel scabbard with a mix of paint and steel patina finish.
