Original era manufacture. An interesting grouping consisting of three award documents and their corresponding medal, awarded to Obergefreiter Gustav Boff of 10./Art.Rgt.98 (45th Infantry Division) in 1942 and 1943. The documents and medals consist of ; Iron Cross 2nd Class (signed by Division Commander Major-General Kuhlwein), Eastern Front Medal and Black Wound Badge. Also included is a shipping box with stamps affixed, addressed to Familie Boff in Germany. The 45th Division was a former Austrian Army division absorbed into the Wehrmacht in 1938. It served in Poland, France and in the Soviet Union. The remnants of the division surrendered in Czechoslovakia in 1945.
