German WWII Bakelite Binocular Case, frn 41 & 8x32 Helinor Binoculars

Original era manufacture. A very sound black bakelite binocular case with a presstoff closure pull and two leather belt loops on the reverse. Coded frn 41 on the closure spring cover (Federn-, Draht- und Metallwarenfabrik, Havel) of which traces of the original black paint finish remain. The belt loops have several serial numbers and a crown proof stamped into their surface indicating postwar use by another country. The Helinor Stereo binoculars fit the case properly, the lenses are cloudy and out of collimation but you can still look through them. The right frame cover screw is missing. Priced for the value of the case.
