Original era manufacture. This remarkable lot details the service of oneyoung woman who served in the HJ & BDM during WWII. After the war shemarried an American soldier and came to America as a War Bride. The lot is quite extensive, and contains a large variety of artifacts illustrating her time in the BDM. Thegrouping includes a selection of original insignia and awards worn by her, including a cased Kampfspiele 1939 badge in bronze. Eight official HJ & BDM documents on NSDAP letterhead and addressed to her, several postwar US Army letters of recommendation to herfor excellent work, two photo albums, one large, one smaller, both assembled by her during thewar and a large lot of wartime photos,her Luftwaffe sweetheart, Germanmovie stars, scenic postcards and more. Excellent research potential, the Kampfspiele badge is the first one of these we've ever owned, not much info on them.
