Original era manufacture. Sound black leather holster with clear maker and date markings on the reverse. Manufacture DLWP and dated 1940. The holster is very sound, stitching is tight with some light scattered scuffing from service use, it is not crushed or split. There is a slight musty smell from long storage, and the loading tool pocket is inside the flap. The leather is slightly stiff from age, but zero dry rot in evidence.
