Original era manufacture. This very nice, original finish, brown leather P08 holster was made by FR&K Voegels, Koln-Deutz in 1938, waffenamt code WaA387. The stitching is sound showing a two inch repair on the top of the flap. The leather body which still "creaks" when handled. Postwar, the holster was modified (likely by Norway) by the removal of the original belt loops, with a larger single loop and a M1910 US pattern attaching hook added. Postwar, many Luger holsters were modified this way to fit US surplus web belts. Riding to the rescue, a previous owner, or perhaps dealer, had the offending postwar added belt loop and hook, rivet holes plugged and original style belt loops re-installed.
