Original era manufacture. Sound leather holster with clear maker and date markings on the reverse, WILH.BRAND, Heidelberg 1938. The holster leather is very sound, stitching is tight with some light scattered scuffing from service use. Postwar, the holster was modified by the Norwegian army by having the original belt loops removed and a leather flap which secured a US M1910 belt hook was then installed. This modification has since been removed, the rivet holes plugged and replaced with original type leather loops which use the original stitch holes, nicely done job. Clean holster for your P08 pistol with an interesting back story.
