Original period manufacture. An early production badge of brass with a silver finish. Wide mounting pin on the reverse with a swirl pattern to the reverse surface of the badge. Makers mark 30 (Hauptmunzamt Wien) on the reverse. Standard red cardboard issue case which has had a few repairs to the inner portions of the lid.Nice silver patina to the badge but it has been cleaned in the past now showing brass around the edges and highlights of the obverse.
