Original era manufacture. Black, satin paint finish helmet with a square-cut visor; original decals as shown. The liner is very clean with an intact and unbroken chinstrap. Original WWII German souvenirs brought home by a US Army 3rdInfantry Division veteran Mr. Robert Gelhoff of Wisconsin. These items were obtained by Mr. Gelhoff during his service in WWII. He served with the 3rdDivision throughout WWII, seeing combat in North Africa, Sicily, Anzio, Southern France and Germany.
