Original era manufacture. Dark gray-blue painted exterior, with a Luftschutz winged decal on the front. There is a handpainted, rectangular brown identification panel, encircling about 2/3 of the helmet shell.Original pigskin liner with cork spacers, intact drawstring and crown pad in position. The leather chinstrap is present but very weak, with a M1917 style snap-clip.Minor denting to the top of the crown, but no corrosion issues.
