Original era manufacture. Late war produced German stick grenade which has been demilled by a hole being drilled into the bottom of the head and the explosives removed. In addition, the fuze has been rendered inoperable. Traces of the ordnance tan paint remain on the head with some light pitting from old cleaned corrosion. The wooden handle is sound and unscrews from the base of the grenade easily. Stamped into the side of the handle is jvf 45 and a waffenamt.
