Original era manufacture. Yellow cotton armband with embroidered black lettering, and set below is a black metal number 2, first time I've seen this done.These were worn by those employed by the Wehrmacht to allow the wearer the considerations as military personnel under the Geneva Convention. Normal age and wear. Normal age and wear. One of the souvenirs brought home from WWII by a US Army officer who served with the 282nd Combat Engineers.
