Original era manufacture. German WWII dismounted leather K98 frog. Dated 1936 and maker marked on reverse. All of the aluminum rivets are present, the stitching is sound, and the leather very pliable. There is a small nick in the hole for the scabbard mounting stud at the 11 o'clock position.
