Original era manufacture. Henckels manufacture bayonet, with an eight inch chrome steel finished blade. On the obverse is faintly inscribed, "W.Wischmann, 2./ MG. Batl. 10".The blade is clean, no corrosion issues, with a small dent in the edge and the tip slightly blunted. Sound black hard rubber grips with no cracks or chips, minor surface bubbling to the chrome finished steel guard and birdhead pommel.Dent free, black painted steel scabbard with most of its original finish remaining intact. The blade sticks a little when being inserted in the scabbard. Black patent leather frog with sound stitching an no flaking to the surface.
