Original era manufacture. German WWII Dress bayonet with knot and frog. Aesculap Werkemanufacture. Chrome finished blade measuring 7.75 inches in length, with the Aesculap logo on the obverse ricasso. The blade is clean, unsharpened, showing some light scratching to the blade surface, no corrosion.Sound black plastic grips in good repair, plated finish to the guard and pommel with a touch of light surface staining on the top of the pommel. Red wool filler inside the bayonet lug slot. Wrapped around the pommel is a nice quality NCO knot. Black painted steel scabbard, dent-free, with about 80% of the finish remaining. Sound, service quality black leather frog in very nice condition
