Original era manufacture. German WWII Dress bayonet with knot and frog. Horster manufacture. Eight inch chrome finished blade with the Horster logo on the obverse ricasso. The blade is clean, unsharpened, showing a few areas of lifting to the plated finish, no corrosion.Sound black plastic grips in good repair, chrome finish to the guard and pommel, with a touch of light surface staining on the lock button. Sound black patent leather frog, which has an NCO pattern knot wrapped around its waist. Black painted steel frog with surface denting on each side, and looks to have had a postwar repaint at some point in time. Clean bayonet overall.
