Original era manufacture. Early civil pattern steel helmet with a screen type ventilator on each side. Dark greenish-gray paint finish, with scattered scratches to its surface, the decal remaining quite clear and undamaged. Complete light brown leather liner, with rectangular cork spacers around the rivet prongs, the right front cork spacer is broken. Original black leather chinstrap, with two adjusting buckles, the leather surface is a bit dry but not rotted.   Scarce early pattern Luftschutz helmet
