German WWII Early Pattern Enlisted SA Service Kepi

Original era manufacture. Early, pre 1933 pattern without the colored top denoting a particular district. The body of the hat is covered in a tan twill material with an orange/tan cotton lining and brown oilcloth sweatband. The sides of the kepi are pushed in a bit from improper storage but are not broken. At the time of our purchase the kepi was missing its M1929 pattern eagle and silver button. We had an extra in stock and installed it in its previously pierced prong holes. The prongs do not pierce the lining but the lining is torn a little bit in that area. The 20.5mm chrome finished button is friction fit only and will come loose if you pull on it.
