Original period manufacture. Early style helmet with double ventilators on each side of the helmet, complete original liner and chinstrap and original decals as shown. The painted surface of the helmet shows light wear, and there is evidence of an aluminum comb being removed and the holes plugged, a common occurrence with these pattern helmets.The original chinstrap is dry but unbroken, sound original leather liner, although the inner rubber cushion has dried and is crumbling. Nice black satin finish to the exterior of the helmet, and the decals are quite clear.
