Original period manufacture. Typical zinc medal with its original, unused ribbon, suspension ring is marked 55, J.E.Hammer & Sohne. Original WWII German souvenirs brought home by a US Army 3rdInfantry Division veteran Mr. Robert Gelhoff of Wisconsin. These items were obtained by Mr. Gelhoff during his service in WWII. He served with the 3rdDivision throughout WWII, seeing combat in North Africa, Sicily, Anzio, Southern France and Germany.
