German WWII EK2 & Document Grouping

Original era manufacture. A nice little lot consisting of an original magnetic center EK2, 2 pieces of original ribbon, period BW postcard photo of a soldier wearing the EK2 ribbon & wound badge and a WWII EK2 award document. The document was presented to Obgfr Wilhelm Renauer of 3./Pi.Batl.61 on the 6th of June 1943. The signature of his divisional commander can be seen at the bottom of the document. Overall the document shows wear and use with staining from moisture and a small tear on the left side. The EK2 itself retains most of its original finish and a dark silver patina to the frame edges. All of the components of this set were together at the time of our purchase.
