Original era manufacture. Of a pattern issued to German mounted troops prior to WWII. Matching marks on blade and scabbard C.E./G 3263 (Carl Eickhorn 1935)with numerous waffenamt proofs. Wrapped around the grip and guard is an original leather faustriemen. From the estate of a US Army Doctor who brought it home from WWII. No damage, light wear and use, very clean.
