German WWII Enlisted Municipal Police Straight Leg Wool Trousers, 1939 Dated

Original period manufacture. Straight leg, police green wool trousers with issue stamps inside the waistband. Inseam measures 30 inches, waistband 36 inches, with green piping along the outside trouser leg seam. Watch pocket on the front, slash pocket on each side, rear pocket on the right hip. All suspender and fly buttons are in place. Adjustable half belt in back on the waist. The trousers are clean, there are several spots of mothing, one one the left front thigh next to the fly opening, a few further down on the same leg near the knee, and again same leg but on the reverse this time just above the cuff. In addition a previous owner made a 1/2 inch opening in the crotch seam to allow a support rod to be inserted there, should be an easy fix.
