Original period manufacture. Standard pattern Rural Police bayonet with a black leather scabbard with a Alexander Coppel proof mark on each side of the 13 inch blade. The blade is clean with no issues. Unit marked on the reverse of the guard and scabbard throat, S.G.I.36, Gumbinnen district PrussiaOriginal stag grips with an ornate eagle head pommel, and laurel leaf decorated guard. Nickel alloy Police eagle on the grip. Clean black leather bodied scabbard with plated alloy throat and chape. Unmarked black leather frog.
