Original period manufacture. Standard pattern Rural Police bayonet with a black leather scabbard and matching frog. Nickel fittings throughout, with a slotted pommel with a green wool felt wedge in the slot, working lock button.The blade is quite clean with clear WKC knights helmet proofmark on one side of the ricasso, and the Weyersberg address on the other. Sound real staghorn grips with an aluminum Police eagle set into one side.The guard and scabbard throat display matching unit numbers, SB 211The black leather scabbard is sound, stitching is tight, with no damage to the metal fittings. Only comment would be that the blade isa snug fit.Sound black leather bayonet frog which is 1940 dated on the reverse.Original fabric Police knot wrapped around the waist of the frog.
