Original era manufacture. We recently purchased a large old collection of Elastolin and Lineol figures and we will be offering them here in the coming weeks and months. Today we have a lot of 9 mounted German WWII figures, each astride a horse with either an Elastolin or Lineol marked base. The lot includes six riflemen, an officer, bugler and guidon bearer. The gentleman who put this amazing collection together certainly enjoyed them, modifying some of them by adding a sword or weapon, or altering the figure itself to achieve a desired pose or purpose. This process can be seen in the guidon bearer as I believe his right arm was modified to carry the flag, which in itself is entirely scratch built and hand painted. Some of the horses also show a few repairs, however the overall effect is quite striking, making an impressive display.
