Original era manufacture. Plated steel blade with etched panels on each side of the blade. Real stag horn grip, which is decorated with three gilded brass acorns & leaves. Ornate brass clamshell guard, black leather bodied scabbard with an ornately decorated chape. The blade is clean, showing a spot of cleaned corrosion on the spine of the blade towards the point. The securing staples are missing from the scabbard fittings. The guard is a little loose, otherwise a very attractive piece.
