Original period manufacture. 5.5 inch polished steel blade with a trademark on the reverse of the ricasso. The blade has a salt and pepper finish from age and use but no pitting, very slightly blunted tip. Simple steel guard with traces of its black paint finish remaining. Sound wood grips with a small chip on the obverse side by the pommel. Black painted sheet metal scabbard with a spring steel belt or boot clip.
