Original era manufacture. A beautiful, original condition German Fire Police helmet brought home from WWII by US Army Master Sergeant G. W. Buchanan.Black satin finished aluminum body with original decals as shown. No dents, ugly scratches or missing portions of paint. Solid original leather liner and pliable chinstrap, with a clear makers marking stamped into the neckskirt of the helmet.The only comment would be that the orange foam pad has dried out and the crumbling residue can be seen inside the liner. Otherwise this is a 9 out of a 10.
