Original era manufacture. Pink cotton embroidery on dark blue wool backing. Normal age and wear.Magdeburg was heavily bombed by the RAF during WWII, the heaviest raid being the night of January 16 1945, when much of the city was destroyed, and suffering the loss of over 16,000 residents of the city.
