Original period manufacture. Chrome finished 10 inch blade with a clearmakers mark on each side of the ricasso. Obverse, the crouching tiger, and the reverse, TIGER in script, with Solingen below.The blade is clean, no corrosion damage withno lifting to the blade finish, however a foolish previous owner felt the need to try and sharpen the blade. Perhaps the steel can be properly dressed so as to make the grind marks disappear. Chrome plated steel guard and pommel in very sound condition, nice black plastic grips.Non-patent leather frog showing normal age and wear, dent-free black painted steel scabbard with about 90% original finish remaining.
